Technical Stuff
What is a Netsticker? A Netsticker is basically nothing but a standard GIF picture that apart from being able to convey a picture, also has the capability of storing text information. We have also added the capability of attaching binary data, i.e. anything you have on your computer hard disk, pictures, sounds, pdf files, MP3, games, the works. Netstickers come in various sizes, but the maximum size is 468 x 60 pixels. Netsticker supports standard GIF animations too.

Since Netsticker is based on the GIF format, it can readily be used in a standard web browser such as Internet Explorer. Netsticker does not rely on any weird plug-ins, all you need is your standard web browser, and of course the Netsticker program. Netsticker is a small program running on the Windows family of operating systems (95/98/ME/XP/2000/NT). You download the program over the Internet and within minutes you are up and running. Netsticker definitely enhances your interaction with the web. Netsticker was designed to work with Internet Explorer and requires that you are using version 5 or higher. Some functionality may however work with other browsers too.
